Charging in system with load
Often, the battery charger is used in a system where there are consumers connected to the battery to be charged.
Simple chargers emit low currents after a completed charging or, in the worst case, the charger completely shuts off. That type of charger is completely unusable in battery systems with connected consumers.
Tystor battery charger is capable of recharging the battery while providing power to the consumers.
A good rule of thumb for charger size calculation:
10% of Ah’s in A + Consumers in A = Minimum size of charger.
Example:
10% of 100Ah + 7A in consumption current = 17A
