The future of the lead acid battery

Already 20 years ago, the lead battery was officially declared dead.
Further development has kept it alive and until recently there was no good replacement in terms of price / performance.

LiFePO4 now starts to emerge as a good alternative, but so far at a higher price.
Increased environmental requirements have now made the lead battery getting harder to survive.

New environmental taxes have been added, which changes the price / performance image.
However, the recycling of spent lead battery has been greatly refined, as a consequence of the continued use of lead battery.
